Original file preserves the source exactly, including all Excel sheets.

Excel saves values as text, nested values as JSON text and empty values as blank cells. Lossless Parquet stores complete records in one JSON column. Typed Parquet creates analytical columns: nested/mixed values and numbers outside exact decimal limits become text; missing and null merge.

CSV stores nested values as JSON text. TOML uses a records wrapper and cannot represent null values. Check format changes to review your actual data before downloading.
